Meet the most dyspraxic five-star astronavigatrix and enthusiastic sexy comedian of the future. Elf has been obsessing over 1960s sexy science fiction. Inspired by the film Barbarella, join Elf, the Feminist Times’ One to Watch, on her fast-paced exploration through the world of sexuality – from dressage horses, sci-fi superheroes and the secret life of sharks.
Elf Lyons is an immortal award-winning performance maker, comedian, writer, director and general happy person. In the last few years Elf has performed all around the world at leading arts festivals in the UK, Europe and Australia. Her work is relevant, political and joyful. She enjoys taking risks, creating visual fantasies and basically just causing a really fun mess on stage.
★★★★★ ‘Elf demonstrates what it means to be the voice of a generationEngaging, spritely, totally endearing, and wonderfully funny DirtAndCandy.com, Adelaide Fringe
★★★★ ‘A stand-out Fringe show from a vibrant and energetic performer… An hour packed full of sexiness, nerdiness and amusingly awful attempts at different accents with an excellent astronaut striptease’ The Skinny
★★★★ Being Barbarella is one of the strongest stand-up shows I’ve seen TheNewCurrent.co.uk
‘Lyons is endearingly eccentric on so many levels. She has a knack for fostering the desire to be her new best friend.’ FEST Magazine
‘Endearingly eccentric. Lyons’s debut certainly achieves her main aim of showing sexy, nerdy and funny aren’t mutually incompatible.’ Chortle
